You know Jesus was thrown out of many places and called many names. Christians have always been persecuted. I don't live in Richmond but after following theRoc on live stream Internet on Thursday's and Saturdays for about a year and a half I became a member. I have read Phil Aguilar's book and agree that he is a self promoter and I'm not sure where Jesus fits into his grandiose personality. That said I can honestly say Pastor G. isn't of that caliber, he is all about salvation and helping other fight their demons. My sister who does live in Richmond is a member and her son is a honorary soul winning soldier. So I get alot of my info from her as she does attend regularly. Pastor G. thinks nothing about taking in the dregs of society to the corporate business man because we are all Gods children. I can only say that I wish I lived in Richmond. Pastor is fond of saying that " if you aren't tattooed, been in jail or prison or done bad things in your life then you probably aren't comfortable there''. But he See's past our inadequacies and loves us for who we are. God as taught Pastor G. well.

I have heard alot of things about this place. I had a friend invite me to go last week but I am kind of wary. I am a christian and I love Jesus and all but I went to a HUGE church for awhile and it didnt feel right. A church that big is so impersonal. I go to a small church that I have been going to for a long time and I think I will stay there. I have heard the ROC is a cult. People that I have known that go there are kind of spacey….it doesnt seem like their heads are on straight or something. Anyways just my input

Our family has been attending the ROC and serving God there for 3 years. We don't serve Pastor G, we serve a living God. We researched what a cult was and found that in no way does the ROC fit the definition. If you're trying to find dirt on our Pastoral staff, you will most likely find it. We are not a perfect people, we are a people living in obedience to Jesus Christ the best we can. Live in love, don't trash the brethren, we will all have to answer to God upon our deaths, those of us that have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior will all be in heaven together. Peace to you if you carry hatred in your hearts. Judge not, lest ye be judged.
